Five a Side is run by NimblePanda Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17122751, registered office 30 Grange Road, Barnton, CW8 4PE. We are the data controller. Email [email protected] about anything on this page.

• Your email address. Used to sign you in and to send the reminders you switch on. Signing in is how we know a booking is yours. Without it there is no account.
• Your display name. Shown to the other players in your group, which is the point: they need to know who is coming.
• Match activity. Which games you said yes to, your place in a waitlist, and what you owe or are owed once the pitch cost is split. Kept while the group is active so balances carry forward.
• Venues your group adds. Including their location, so the app can show where you are playing.
• Push notification subscription. Only if you turn notifications on, and only to send the alerts you asked for. Turning them off deletes it.

Our legal basis is performing the contract you entered into by signing up, except for optional analytics, which relies on your consent, and reminders, which rely on your settings.

Other members of a group you join can see your display name, your answer to each match and your balance within that group. That is the whole purpose of a shared organiser, so treat a group as visible to everyone in it. Nobody outside your groups sees any of it.

The processors we use: Supabase hosts the database and handles sign-in, and Cloudflare serves the app. Both process data on our instructions only. We do not sell data, and there is no advertising anywhere in the product.

Essential cookies keep you signed in. They cannot be turned off without breaking the app, and they need no consent because the service does not work without them.

Anything beyond that is optional and off until you accept the notice. If you accept, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see which screens people struggle with. Clarity records how pages are used, with anything you type hidden before it leaves your browser. Decline and neither loads at all, and no analytics cookie is set. Clear this site’s data in your browser to be asked again.

Account and match data stays while your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we remove your personal data within 30 days, keeping only what we have to for legal reasons. Analytics data follows the retention set in Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which delete session recordings after 30 days.

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent for analytics at any time. Email us and we will deal with it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data and we have not put it right, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Five a Side is meant for adults organising their own games. We do not knowingly create accounts for under 13s. If a child has signed up, tell us and we will remove the account.
