Accessibility statement

Everyone in the group should be able to say they are in, whatever phone they use and however they use it. This page says what we build to, how we checked, and where it still falls short.

Our standard

This statement covers football.nimblepanda.co.uk, run by NimblePanda Ltd. We build it to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

Conformance status: fully conformant for the pages we tested. Those are the home page, sign-in, join, privacy, terms and every page of the demo. The signed-in group and match screens are built from the same parts as the demo, but we could not run the automated checks on them without a live account, so they are not part of this claim yet.

What we have done

  • Zoom. You can pinch to zoom on any page. Text and layout still work at 200%.
  • Keyboard and screen readers. Buttons and links are real buttons and links, form fields have labels, and headings are in order.
  • Colour. Text meets the 4.5:1 contrast ratio in light and dark mode, and nothing relies on colour alone.
  • Tap targets. Links and buttons are at least 24 pixels in each direction.
  • No time limits. Sign-in links last long enough to reach your inbox, and nothing on screen times out.

Known limits

  • Cookie notice. Until you answer it, the notice sits over the bottom of the screen and can cover the demo's tab bar.
  • Venue photos. Photos added by organisers have no description of their own. The venue name and details always sit next to them as text.
  • Maps. The “Open in maps” link hands you to your phone's maps app, which we do not control.

How we tested

A self-evaluation on 16 September 2026. We ran the axe-core 4.10 automated checker on each page above at phone (390 pixels) and desktop (1280 pixels) widths, using its WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 A and AA rules, in light and dark mode, and fixed what it found: a blocked pinch zoom, grey text that was too faint, unreadable text on the legal pages in dark mode, small links, and the demo banner sitting outside a page region. We have not yet tested with a screen reader.

Automated tools catch about half of accessibility problems at best, so we treat this as a starting point and check new screens the same way before they ship.
